Sneak Preview und Künstlerinnengespräch: Fortuna. Futura. Libertas. „Was denkst Du, wie sieht Deine Zukunft in 35 Jahren aus?“

On Wednesday, October 9, at 17:00, the Stiftung Forum Recht in Leipzig invites you to a sneak preview and artist talk as part of the Leipzig Light Festival 2024. Visitors can expect an insight into the light installation Fortuna. Futura. Libertas, which will be on display on the façade of the G2 Kunsthalle at Innenstadtring/Dittrichring 13.

During the subsequent artist talk, Liudmila Siewerski, Katia Sophia Ditzler, Charlotte Bach and Marisol Jiménez will talk about their light art project: to develop the installation, they interviewed people in Leipzig about their dreams and ideas of democracy, justice and freedom. These conversations resulted in the light installation, which is one of a total of 21 artistic projections at this year's Light Festival. The art projection is a cooperation between the Stiftung Forum Recht and the Leipzig Light Festival.

After the reception and discussion, guests are invited to experience the light installation on site at the G2 Kunsthalle and then return to Augustusplatz. There, the traditional "Candle-89" will be lit together to bring the evening to a close. Visitors can also view the other 20 light installations that will be on display along the inner city ring road until midnight.
