Snow Trail are a post-punk band from Jena, consisting of Pascal (Git/Synth/Voc), Ace (Bass) and Padraig Silenos (Drums/Voc). The band was founded in 2018 and after a few months of various jam sessions, the first live gigs started in 2019. In 2020, the first EP entitled "Synaptic Void" was released and due to the global pandemic, only a few concerts were presented live. Under these circumstances, the focus was placed on songwriting so that the first longplayer could be recorded in the summer and fall of 2023. The debut album "Abandoned Capsule" will be released in spring 2024 on It's Eleven Records. (Nya)

SCHNUPPE's songs are catchy and get you moving. NDW, (post-)punk and garagey sounds make for an irresistibly raspy mix. The lyrics are full of humor and self-irony - whether it's about partying ("Bier für die Girls") or about life in turbo-capitalism, as in "Aspirin".
In fact, pretty much everyone gets their comeuppance in SCHNUPPE's lyrics. Kat's vocals, with their perfect pinch of snottiness, are reminiscent of the good, early days of NDW, when she still had plenty of punk in her blood.
