In the organizer's words:

The jazz heads of the Söhne Mannheims have long since transformed the Schatzkistl into a cult venue for jazz fans with their weekends. Guitarist Michael "Kosho" Koschorreck, drummer Ralf Gustke and bassist Edward Maclean lead through two evenings full of joyful playing, improvisation and surprising twists and turns.

This time, they will be joined by the rapper Metaphysics, tenor saxophonist Joe Reinhuber and award-winning pianist Martin Sörös - a line-up that provides exciting contrasts: jazz meets freestyle, tradition meets experimentation, hits meet reinterpretation.

Whether delicate jazz versions of well-known Söhne songs, original compositions or jazz and pop classics - the SMJD interprets everything in its own unmistakable way. Two concerts not to be missed.
