Solo! Duo! Festival - Scenic reading "The Wall"

Prof. Hanna Werth reads from the novel "Die Wand" by Marlen Haushofer. She will be joined by Daniel Brandl, cello (as guest), Luzia Ostermann, mezzo-soprano and Veronika Ittermann, piano.

"I am lost to the world." A three-day stay in the hunting lodge of acquaintances turns into a different life for the protagonist in this poetic novel. Mysteriously cut off from civilization for the unforeseeable future by an enigmatic boundary - a kind of invisible wall in the middle of the forest - she searches for new meaning in her solitude and finds it in life with nature.

Prof. Hanna Werth has been teaching acting at the Robert Schumann Hochschule since the summer semester of 2023 and was appointed Junior Professor of Scene and Intimacy Coordination the following year. From 2014, she was a member of the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus ensemble for ten years. Hanna Werth works regularly for film and television in front of the camera and as a radio speaker in front of the microphone. She also organizes recitals and realizes her own interdisciplinary projects.
