On May 27, 2025, the Charter for Diversity Day of Action will be celebrated throughout Germany under the motto When diversity wins, Germany wins. This day will also be duly celebrated in Amberg, with the winner of the Franconian Cabaret Prize Berhane Berhane as guest of honor. After his successful appearances with Bülent Ceylan, Berhane is now going on tour with his second solo program Deutscher als Du and will be stopping off in Amberg on Diversity Day. In his humorous program, he poses the question in his very own way: Who is really German? and is guaranteed to make you laugh with his astute observations at 8 pm at the ACC. With his unique perspective, he takes an amusing look at life and coexistence in Germany. Be part of an unforgettable evening and get your free ticket now!
The comedy evening is part of the Pick Diversity campaign, which is organized by the Culture and Religion Working Group of the Alliance for Migration and Integration. In addition to the comedy evening, there will be a free and colorful hands-on program for the public on the Bleichwiese from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No ticket is required to visit the interactive stands - admission is free. The ticket purchased here is only required to attend the comedy evening with Berhane Berhane. The above-mentioned activities can be realized thanks to the kind support of the city of Amberg, all the above-mentioned sponsors and associations as well as the Partnership for Democracy Amberg. The Amberg Partnership for Democracy is funded by the federal program "Live Democracy!" of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
