The legendary Icelanders Sólstafir start the touring cycle for their 8th studio album, which will be released later this year on Century Media Records. Sólstafir have been performing all over the globe for over 20 years, stunning audiences with heart and soul from the first note and letting it all out until they leave the stage. The atmospheric Icelandic rock'n'roll sound unique to Sólstafir always offers those who witness their epic sets a journey through ice and snow, fire and lava and breathtaking soundscapes of their homeland, with a full catalog of extraordinary, timeless hits to perform.

Special guests and support on this tour are none other than Finland's Oranssi Pazuzu, who will release their upcoming album on Nuclear Blast Records later this year. Oranssi Pazuzu are no strangers to extreme avant-garde, and being part of this tour is also the launch of the highly anticipated latest edition to their impressive catalog of music. Oranssi Pazuzu cross multiple genres and leave listeners wondering what the hell just happened. It's impossible not to be mesmerized by everything that happens on stage. The band evokes feelings of dystopian unease with intense satisfaction.

In Bielefeld, Hamferð from the Faroe Islands will open the evening with their haunting doom sounds, taking the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions song after song. Six years after their last release, this is their first tour in support of their latest effort "Men Guðs hond er sterk", out March 22nd on Metal Blade Records, which has been praised by journalists and fans alike eagerly awaiting new music from this rarely seen band.

In Munich, Leipzig and Berlin, Season of Mist Records' HELGA will take over as support. Originally from Dalarna, Sweden, HELGA's sound conjures visions of forests and nature in a magical blend of heaviness with a subtle dash of prog, while combining both Swedish and English language in the lyrics. Returning to the UK from her beloved forests, HELGA has proven to both old and new fans that she is a force to be reckoned with now that her band is complete. Her debut album 'Wrapped In Mist', released in November 2023, was highly praised by critics and fans alike, being described as "eclectic music that lurks on the edges of black and post-metal".

The unique thing about the collaboration of these bands is that each sings in their native language, making it a real treat for any audience members who are unlikely to be fluent in all languages. You get the chance to really immerse yourself in the music and the performance while gaining your own inner perspective on the possibilities of each song.
