In the organizer's words:
Celebrate summer, literature, and togetherness with us at Schwanenwik!
There’s hardly a more lovely view in Hamburg in the summer than the one from the windows of the Literaturhaus: white sails on the Alster, rowboats gliding by, and crowds of people strolling along, enjoying ice cream, Aperol Spritz, or simply soaking up the sun. We’d like to take advantage of this wonderful atmosphere to introduce the Literaturhaus, because over the past year, quite a few changes have taken place at the venerable Schwanenwik—not only in terms of staff but also in terms of programming.
On July 8, the bookstore, LIT, and the Literaturhaus are jointly inviting all literature enthusiasts to discover the building, experience literary samples, and engage in conversation with one another. The Literaturhaus Café will provide cocktails and grilled food.
