HFMT SUMMER PARTY

OPEN HOUSE WITH A VARIED PROGRAM

We are bringing the semester to a close together and opening our doors to friends, fans and the curious. The departments of our university present themselves

Snacks and drinks will be provided, sunshine is on the cards.
A flea market and our HfMT tombola round off the fun.

Staff stage hidden talents storm the ensemble studio
Diversity in the ensemble Exhibition by students on the topic of diversity

Music by female composers for the whole family. Sing along, paint, listen, make music and dance! 800 years, 8 countries - something for everyone!

Trumpet ensemble
Prof. Matthias Höfs' trumpet class will provide the glitter and glory on this day

16.30 - Fanny Hensel Hall
Competing with the robot: painting to music
Workshop for 8-10 year olds (maximum 10): we listen to and analyze music, then paint to it and compare our results with those of the robot

17.00 - Mendelssohn Hall
Japanese music
Students show excerpts from the program for this year's Cherry Blossom Festival

17.30 - Fanny Hensel Hall
Chamber music
with works by Fanny Hensel and Dora Pejačević

Studio for early music
with special repertoire from Peru and elsewhere
both groovy and quieter moods are to be expected

Music theorist Oliver Mathes and cellist Hannah Bauer analyze live the first movement of the Solo Sonata No. 1 by Johann Sebastian Bach

Lia Joham
The Hamburg singer-songwriter is a graduate of our pop course and honors us with her expressive songs (https://liajoham.com)

20.00 - Foyer
SchuMu BigBand
The performances of our school musicians' BigBand have long been legendary, and we kick off the evening with them. Under the direction of Michel Schröder, there will be good sounds for an hour.

21.00 - Foyer
Live from the turntables
The DJs among us take the helm and challenge us to dance :-)
