From July 19 to 24, Stuttgart's market square will be transformed into a colorful arena for music, art, culture and culinary delights: at the Summer Festival of Cultures, the largest intercultural festival in southern Germany, there will be six days of dancing, partying, snacking and feasting!

Stars from the international world music scene inspire with rousing concerts of various genres from griot to indie rock, ska and Balkan beats to cumbia, rumba, flamenco and much more - all with Free admission. Stuttgart's migrant associations, (post-)migrant organizations and initiatives will provide culinary delicacies from all over the world and a diverse supporting programme for young and old. In the side streets of the market square, a colorful market of cultures invites you to stroll and browse.

The festival, under the patronage of Stuttgart's Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Nopper, is not only a cultural highlight in the city's festival offerings - it is also a festival that brings people together in the heart of the state capital, facilitates encounters and exchange - and sends a clear signal against racism and exclusion of any kind.
