Sommerkonzert "VIVA L'OPERA"
In the organizer's words:
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the Dresden University Orchestra invites you to a festive opera gala in the Lukaskirche Dresden. Under the direction of Helmuth Reichel Silva, works by Verdi, Mascagni and Puccini will be performed.
The program includes the overture to "Nabucco" by Verdi, Preludio e Siciliana from "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Mascagni as well as excerpts from "La Bohème" by Puccini and "La Traviata" by Verdi.
The talented soprano Kurumi Sueyoshi and the tenor Guillermo Valdés will perform as soloists.
The concert starts at 19:00, admission is from 18:15. Look forward to an evening full of operatic splendor and musical highlights!
