Sommertagung 2026 des Flüchtlingsrats

We cordially invite you to the summer conference of the Baden-Württemberg Refugee Council.

This time, we will focus on a common topic that is currently on the minds of everyone active in the field of refugees and asylum: the CEAS reform. In the keynote address, Dr. Anja Bartel from the Baden-Württemberg Refugee Council will present the latest developments on the topic of refugees and migration from the perspective of state politics, with a focus on the coalition agreement. During two thematic sessions, you will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of various aspects of the CEAS reform. These include: (1) trends toward externalization in the CEAS reform, (2) changes to the asylum procedure, (3) The new Dublin system, (4) So-called “safe” countries of origin. In between, new initiatives from Baden-Württemberg will be presented, and there will be ample opportunities for networking and discussion.

The conference is free of charge and is aimed at anyone interested in or actively involved in the field of refugees and asylum.

Vegan lunch, childcare, and interpreters in English, Dari, and Arabic will be provided. The Bürgerräume venue is accessible to people with disabilities.
