More and more boys and men are openly embracing anti-feminism, and the right-wing fringe is also deliberately using offended masculinity and hatred of feminism and queer visibility to inspire new recruits. The place of radicalization is now usually the internet, where group-based misanthropy is not only a political agenda, but often also a lucrative business. In her lecture, Veronika Kracher explains the history, functioning and ideology of digital anti-feminism - and explains why it regularly acts as a gateway to right-wing extremism

Veronika Kracher (* 1990 in Munich) is an author, publicist and journalist. She has been working intensively on digital misogyny, anti-feminism, online radicalization and right-wing extremism since 2015. In 2020, she published the widely discussed book "Incels - Geschichte, Sprache und Ideologie eines Online-Kults" with Ventil Verlag. Her second book, "Bitch Hunt - Warum wir es lieben es, Frauen zu hassen", was published in 2026.
