Song Slam

Once a month, the hall of Haus 73 becomes the venue for eight mini-concerts - at the end, one person stands on stage as the beaming winner. This is the Song Slam at Haus 73.

Every third Wednesday of the month, eight musicians compete against each other in a friendly music competition - like the ESC, only handmade. The only rule is that the songs must be self-written.

It doesn't matter whether they are soulful singer-songwriters, rappers, loop station virtuosos or neighborhood legends: Anything that flatters the ears is welcome on the Song Slam stage. In one evening, touching ballads meet rousing anthems and feel-good earworms. In the end, it's not a record boss or the streaming algorithm that decides who wins, but a randomly selected audience jury.
