Manni Müller, Stephan Weiser, and Yvo Fischer take us on a journey through the stories behind some of the world’s greatest hits. With “Songs & Stories Live,” they present new acoustic interpretations of well-known songs from the past few decades and share the stories behind them—sometimes amusing, sometimes thought-provoking, and sometimes very surprising! And often astonishingly relevant to today’s society. The set list includes songs by Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Coldplay, U2, Cyndi Lauper, Phil Collins, and many other global stars.

Many people know the great melodies of well-known songs—but often not the stories behind them. To many, Sting’s “Every Breath You Take” sounds like a love song. But it’s actually about an obsessive stalker. What does a yellow taxi have to do with environmental protection? What is Bono of U2 still searching for?
