DIE FRAGE are singer Petra Bosch and drummer, electronic musician and producer Thomas Klein (Kreidler,

Sølyst). The duo from Dusseldorf started 20 years ago as the electronic folk project fauna with an autumnal, melancholic sound. After a long break, they were back on stage in 2023 and presented their minimalist versions of well-known texts and songs from Bach to Bauhaus with thematic rigor.

As DIE FRAGE, the duo have recalibrated their energy. With post-punk energy, they now pull out different musical stops with a crashing, creaking and rattling sound. Between synths, sequences and analog drum beats, Dadaist text fragments tumble with strange poetic power. Scraped out of black pages, meandering through language, tempting and repulsing, promising and deceiving, explaining and betraying a sensual world in wild images, moving and determined but completely unsuspecting.

Louretta & Dr. Schmitt, with modular synthesizers, self-built instruments, guitar and electric violin, the Düsseldorf duo Louretta & Dr. Schmitt create improvised, experimental soundscapes.
