Felix Lobrecht is one of the best-known German-speaking stand-up comedians, author and successful podcaster, who stands out with his sharp humor and authentic style. With numerous awards, including the German Comedy Award, he has become one of the most captivating voices in the German entertainment landscape.

Lukas, Julius, Sanchez and Gino grow up between violence and boredom, between tower blocks and parks, between drugs and dog poo. School is a pain, nobody has any money - but at least it's summer. So "it's no longer just concrete, but sun and concrete", as Lukas' brother notes. Everyday life already brings enough problems, but when the school is to be equipped with new computers, the clique hatches a plan - without thinking about the consequences beforehand.

Felix Lobrecht said of his autobiographical debut novel, the film adaptation of which was a great success in German cinemas in early 2023: "It's not my story in the sense of: This is my life story. I have always left open what is true and what is not." And yet it is also the story of the majority of young people who languish in run-down and underfunded schools, hang out in prefabricated buildings and simply hope that their parents don't have such deep worry lines towards the end of the month.
