For 25 years now, “Soul Explosion” has been taking the Berlin club scene by storm! We’re thrilled to welcome the legendary Soul Explosion to our “living room.” It kicks off at 4:00 p.m., and while you’re at it, you can enjoy the wonderful view over the Berlin rooftops. DJ King Dynamite spins music—primarily from the years 1966 to 1976—straight from original vinyl, mostly in 7-inch format (45s). Deep funk transports you to a bygone era, touches your soul, or unleashes unbridled energy that sends you into an ecstatic frenzy. No one will be able to resist the urge to dance, and not a single shirt will stay dry. The set is rounded out by “Boogaloo” tracks, as played by Latin American immigrants—especially in New York. King Dynamite also throws in some really hot tracks from West Africa. We can’t wait for the Soul Explosion to give the Klunkerkranich a new lease on life!
