SOUND OF JAZZ - EXTRA VIOLETTE

Extraviolette is a disco, funk, and soul band from Leipzig. The nine-piece band recently released its EP *Leave the Ground* to great acclaim. Extraviolette brings the disco era of the 1970s and ’80s back to the stage with all the trimmings: pulsating music featuring a powerful vocal, a horn section, percussion, and drums, along with the signature vibe and outfits! Following the release, the band has been performing at various events and concerts in their hometown of Leipzig—including “Disconized Vol. 1” at the Moritzbastei and a collaboration with the Polyester Club in July—and will now present a two-act concert entirely of their own making at the Beyerhaus.
