Spätcafé im Glockenhof: Stories In Jazz

So far, our trio has taken us to many interesting cultural venues, such as churches, barns, pubs, and museums. Our varied repertoire—ranging from Scandinavian jazz to jazzy Beatles covers, pop and classical pieces, and our own compositions—clearly strikes a chord with our audience, reaffirming our commitment to performing as a trio without a drummer.

In our arrangements, we make use of the sonic possibilities created by the interplay of piano, double bass, and vibraphone, crafting entertaining “musical narratives” that often contain surprising twists. Wolfgang Wierzyk (piano), Thomas Rutt (double bass), and Wilfried Bokelmann (vibraphone) have been active as musicians in the Hamburg area for years and can also be heard in other ensembles.
