In the organizer's words:

Why is affordable housing a key issue for urban society and what is the situation in Düsseldorf? What approaches are there to realize the idea of a city for all? And what would there be to gain as a society? Starting from the "Grund und Boden" exhibition in the Ständehaus, the walk takes us on an exploration of these questions in the neighborhood to Unterbilk - one of the districts where rents have risen particularly sharply in recent years. Andrea from the group "Zeit zu bleiben" gives concrete insights into what happens here when living space becomes a commodity, when there is a threat of "rent eviction" and when people become active against it.
