Special Screening: Midsommar (OV)

The horror surprise is a vacation trip to the Swedish midsummer, which ends in naked horror.

Although their relationship is clearly in crisis, Dani (Florence Pugh) accompanies her boyfriend Christian (Jack Raynor) on their summer vacation. Christian travels to his Swedish homeland with a few friends and his buddy Pelle. Midsommar, with its white nights, is an experience in itself, but in Pelle's village there is even a unique event in the form of a special festival: a ritual that only takes place every 90 years. The whole village is correspondingly excited.

At least that's what Dani thinks at first. But then the inhabitants start behaving more and more strangely and shockingly. And finally, the festival, which Dani and Christian outlined as an idyllic summer dance, turns into a diabolical devil's dance - in the glaring light of the sun that never sets.
