SPECULATIVE ARTIFACTS

In the organizer's words:

Speculative art meets ethical thinking: XR pioneer Evelyn Hriberšek's transmedia work cycle around O.R.PHEUS and EURYDIKE spans mythology, science fiction and technology assessment. The award-winning cosmos juxtaposes trans- and post-humanist visions and anti-feminist movements with technological innovation. Artifacts from the otherwise large-format worlds will be on display at galerieGEDOKmuc from 23.4. to 28.6.2026.

SPECULATIVE ARTIFACTS is part of the group exhibition "Visible. Linked. Free." and is funded by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich. In addition to the exhibition, a performative version of O.R.PHEUS FRAGMENTS will take place on 10.5.2026 at the Munich Creative Business Week.

The exhibition at galerieGEDOKmuc is one of three locations where a multi-layered resonance space for female perspectives in art is being created - contemporary, interdisciplinary, with attitude. "Visible. Connected. Free." is an invitation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of GEDOK and discover female artists from Munich and all over Germany.
