Summer Vacation in the City of Children

At the Mini-Munich play city, children and teens ages 9 to 15 can work, study, earn money, shop, build, meet friends, get involved in politics, and much more. Starting in the third week of summer vacation, newcomers ages 7 and up are also welcome.

In 2026, Mini-Munich will take place during the first three weeks of summer vacation, from August 3 to 21, on the Showpalast grounds in Fröttmaning. The play city is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; registration is not required, and admission is free. The entrance is accessible from the Fröttmaning subway station without having to cross the street and is clearly signposted.

Since July 24, advance registration for the Spielpass has been available on the website. It is voluntary and speeds up the process of receiving the pass on-site. Please note: Registration does not constitute a reservation, nor does it guarantee you a spot to play. Since experience shows that there is a large rush during the first few days, Mini-Munich may be full in the morning. In that case, we recommend trying again in the afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
