On 12 June, you can then look forward to concerts with ACT artist Johanna Summer - she will be bringing a program with her that was partly played with the WDR Big Band in 2023 and arranged by Michael Abene. Johanna Summer represents a new generation of female jazz musicians who playfully dissolve the boundaries of the classical piano tradition. Her style is simultaneously reflective and spontaneous - as if the piano were thinking, feeling and speaking at the same moment.
