Course: Walking/Nordic Walking

Sport in the Park is entering the next round: from May to the end of September, numerous sporting activities can once again be enjoyed free of charge. In total, there are over a dozen different sports activities to choose from, spread across the entire city and throughout the week. In addition to tried and tested activities such as beach volleyball, fitness mix, tennis and tai chi, the program also includes field field hockey, juggling, yoga and gliding. Whether for young or old, beginners or sports enthusiasts - there is something for everyone.

Walking and Nordic walking are endurance sports in which participants walk at a fast, steady pace. In Nordic walking, special poles are also used to activate the upper body more and train the entire body muscles more efficiently.
