INFORMATION:

OnJuly 4, 2027, it’s time once again for the legendarySportScheck RUNright in the heart of the city. Since 1979, the event has been a fixture on the running calendar—and this year, Ludwigstraße will once again be transformed into a RUN course steeped in history.

As always, the race starts right behind the Siegestor. The first 500 meters are for warming up—then the route turns right into Munich’s green oasis: the English Garden.

The kids keep it short and sweet: two 1-km laps—fun guaranteed. The 5-km runners enjoy a little green break with highlights like the Monopteros and the Chinese Tower. Those who choose the 10-kilometer route get even more nature packed into the course—including a detour under the Isarring.

And the half-marathoners? They get to experience the English Garden in its entirety—all the way to the ice rink and back. Nature, city, and sports—all in one run.

Participation in the 5-km and 10-km RUN is open to anyone 12 years of age and older. The half marathon is open to participants 16 years of age and older. Children ages 7 to 12 can participate in the Kids RUN.
