Spotlight - Mixed Show mit Live-Musik

Three fresh talents from the region present an excerpt of their musical skills, some of them gain their first live experience and each perform for 30 minutes as part of this new series of events:

GWENJOLIE wants to touch, has something to share, something to give, wants to have more fun in this world, simply wants to let go, jump, dance, laugh, be free.

The young artist has been on the road musically for several years now, developing until she finally released her first album - KRISTALLKLAR. Personal lyrics with current topics that affect everyone and contain a positive consensus, wrapped in mystical pop sounds.

Two guitars and two voices - the SLOW RIDERS inspire their audience with a mashup of different genres that have shaped the lives of these two passionate musicians. They bring a wide range of music to the stage, from melancholic alternative folk to fast indie tunes. Sometimes they let the wind from the west blow and unpack their cowboy boots.

With this mission, they tour the Rhineland and beyond.

The motto "We go back to the classics" of the Düsseldorf newcomer band LostTapes is inspired by old classics and creates timeless music with a wide variety of modern stylistic influences. With a typical rock band line-up consisting of drums (Henri Neu), bass (Julian Jäger), guitar (Felix Nolte) and vocals (Timmy Thompson), the four young musicians aged between 17 and 21 create a sound that ranges from untamed fuzz guitars to quiet emotional ballads. In contrast to the rousing melodies are the serious and emotional lyrics.

In the "Battle Of The Bands 2023" (Music Store), LostTapes were the youngest participant to win against 74 other bands and took third place out of 55 in "Toys2Masters 2023" - also as the youngest participant. Rejecting commercialized and over-perfected music, the band focuses on organic musicianship, so LostTapes creates unusual songs for unusual times.
