Stadträume im Konflikt - Wie gestalten wir friedliche Aushandlungsprozesse?
In the organizer's words:
Registration required (see below)
We need to talk - with each other and constructively. There are many conflicts surrounding the use of space and thus sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban development in Hamburg. You will slip into a fictitious role and learn to negotiate these peacefully.
On July 2, the district offices of Hamburg-Nord and Eimsbüttel, together with the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy (IFSH) and the planning office 1komma2, invite you to a public, participatory workshop for constructive dialog on urban conflicts of use and their peaceful negotiation. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Central Library at Hühnerposten. The workshop is part of Hamburg Sustainability Week and is aimed at all interested citizens.
Under the title "Urban spaces in conflict - how do we shape peaceful negotiation processes?", participants will address the question of how sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban development can succeed when different social interests clash. In a moderated scenario workshop, the participants slip into fictitious roles and negotiate exemplary, Hamburg-specific conflicts over the use of public spaces. The aim is to facilitate a change of perspective, negotiate conflicts constructively and learn about methods of peaceful understanding.
The event is being held in cooperation with the Hamburger Bücherhallen. Registration is required and can be done on the Hamburg Sustainability Week website: Registration "Urban spaces in conflict - How do we shape peaceful negotiation processes"
