After the fall of the Dark Empire, the remaining warlords have scattered across the galaxy. As the New Republic, built from the wreckage, attempts to preserve the hard-won gains of the successful rebellion, it receives support from Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), an experienced Mandalorian bounty hunter, and his young protégé Grogu. The two are tasked with rescuing Rotta the Hutt (Jeremy Allan White), while the few scattered warlords of the shattered empire continue to try to shake the new order and regain power themselves.
