With spring approaching, there is sometimes a tugging in the heart, but you don't have to be a migratory bird for that. Munich singer-songwriter Stefan Noelle captures this pull in beautiful melodies and vivid poetry. He takes us out to the buds bursting open, breaks the dead wood out of the hedge and opens small windows to the great themes of longing, transience and eternity with such everyday observations. He leads us into the underground of the Olympic Park, remembers the "What should people think" of his childhood and longs for a "Warm night in Munich", which always marks the end of spring for us. And when he discovers the big in the small by looking at washing machines or mirrors, he dresses this in finely rhymed verses, often with a dash of humor. His multi-faceted guitar playing with borrowings from pop, folk and country as well as a few jazzy touches.

Stefan Noelle is also known to many as a drummer in jazz and world music. However, it was above all his musical poetry for which he was awarded the City of Munich Music Prize in 2023. His album "Wie es mich zieht" was unanimously celebrated by the Munich press in 2022 as a "masterpiece" (SZ), a "necklace full of jewels" (AZ) and "something special" (Münchner Feuilleton).
