Stegreifs feel:free is an invitation to rediscover orchestral music. To all those who never actually listen to classical music, to those who like to groove, as well as to those who want to experience well-known repertoire in a new way. Whether standing or sitting, dancing or running, from a bird's eye view or in the middle of the action - music can be enjoyed in so many different ways. With feel:free, Stegreif places a conscious focus on the atmosphere at the moment of the event. Works by known and unknown composers such as Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, Clara Schumann, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations flow into this intoxication. Original compositions by members of the ensemble are just as much a part of it as many improvised moments, which the audience not only accompanies with its reactions, but actively helps to shape.

This concert is part of the Stegreif@JazzHall series, which celebrates the creative development of the orchestra, which has been redefining the boundaries of classical music for a decade.
