Stephan Graf v. Bothmer: IMAGINATION

In the organizer's words:

Soundscapes, stories and emotions made of pure music. Melodic, dramatic, rhythmic, epic, live. An improvisational concert bursting with ideas and joy of playing in the impressive sound space of the Zwölf-Apostelkirche. After more than 30 years as a film composer, Stephan v. Bothmer plays concerts without a movie. Immerse yourself in pure music!

Bothmer plays on his CineTronium, a further development of the tradition of the church organ, an electronic musical instrument, a keyboard castle, which he originally developed especially for the live interpretation of silent films and has now reworked. Also included: a completely new type of synthesizer (Osmose) and one of the first synthesizers ever (EMS Logic suitcase synthesizer).

"Imagination" refers to the fact that Bothmer's music is extremely vivid, cinematic, but without a movie. It is created in the mind.
