Under the motto "Tripping & Talking", Steve Baltes invites you to one of his rare solo concerts at the Synthesizer Museum Berlin - a mixture of live performance and open discussion. The evening offers exciting insights into Baltes' musical career - from his early techno years and his time with Ashra to nerd talk about synthesizers, his current live setup and, of course, drum machines.
Steve Baltes is a permanent fixture in the world of electronic music. He became particularly well known through his long-standing collaboration with the legendary Berlin formation Ashra, alongside Manuel Göttsching, Lutz Ulbrich and Harald Grosskopf. He has also been working successfully with Stefan Erbe since 2014 - a creative partnership that has already produced three albums and numerous live events. Other current projects include Arctic Sunrise and Baltes & Zäyn.
His solo concerts are a special experience: mystical-urban soundscapes, atmospheric soundscapes and hypnotic grooves merge into intoxicating, live improvised electronic soundscapes.
