The Stiftung Buchkunst has been supporting German book production for 60 years. On the occasion of this anniversary, the importance of book art is to be honored and its relevance emphasized. At the same time, the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region is to be strengthened as a center of book art.

The exhibition pursues several goals: Firstly, to highlight the aesthetic and technical importance of the book and to show the development of book design over the last 60 years. Secondly, visitors of all ages should be made aware of the cultural relevance and diversity of book design. Thirdly, the exhibition offers a platform for exchange and creativity by bringing together professionals and the public. The participants include design and publishing experts, students and young designers who will provide new impetus in talks and workshops.
