Just start singing (solo and in a group) without agonizing over the question: Am I singing well enough? Without the pressure to perform and without having to do everything perfectly…

The workshop is led byKarin Badar, acting and presentation coach (DGFC), theater educator (BuT), dance educator (AfT), as well as an actress, singer, and voice coach (ISGT Berlin).

In this workshop, we’ll explore the voice as a means of expressing thoughts and feelings. Through experimentation and improvisation—from simple vocal exercises to free song creation—we’ll develop a vibrant connection to our own voices. Singing songs from around the world together fosters joy, connection, and presence.

Questions such as
To what extent can I perceive my voice as an expression of my identity?
What does it mean to speak, make sounds, or sing from the depths of my soul or from the heart? accompanythe entire process.

Partner-supported relaxation and trust-building exercises, as well as exercises in self-awareness and awareness of others, facilitate deep connection—both with oneself and with the group. This lays the foundation for a vibrant and lasting learning process.

Work takes place in the group, in pairs, or individually in front of the group. Participants are expressly encouraged to bring their own personalities and everyday experiences to the workshop. The focus is on the joy of working together, as well as learning with and from one another.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants.
