Stimmreise
In the organizer's words:
Led by Brazilian-German singer, clarinetist, and music educator Stephanie Kobori, this workshop is an invitation to anyone who wants to explore their own singing voice and musicality and sing along with others. During the workshop, vocal, breathing, and physical exercises will be used, based on the functional voice training approach of the Rabine Method. These exercises support the development of vocal potential and make singing easy, enjoyable, and melodious. Afterward, participants will learn a polyphonic song from South America, composed by FLINTA*, that explores the use of one’s own voice.
No prior experience is required.
Register by calling 0511 168-49595 or emailingStadtteilzentrum-Ricklingen@Hannover-Stadt.de.
FLINTA*: Women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, transgender, and agender people, as well as other variations of gender diversity.
Registration required!
The workshop will be held in German. Translation into English, Spanish, and Portuguese is available.
The event is fully accessible.
