The cult band Talking Heads, consisting of David Byrne on microphone and guitar, Jerry Harrison on keyboards and guitar, Tina Weymouth on bass and Chris Frantz on drums, put on a rock show in the mid-1980s that has gone down in history. They rocked the stage at the Pantage Theatre in Los Angeles and were able to thrill the audience on site and in front of the movie screens during every single one of the 18 songs. Jonathan Demme was there with his camera and looked over the rockers' shoulders during their three nights at the Pantage Theater and tried to capture the live feeling on film.
