STREETVULVEN "Revolt: Vulva Art Against the Patriarchy"

The first solo exhibition by feminist street artist Streetvulven opens its doors on 16.08.2024. Under the title "Revolt: Vulva art against the patriarchy", the exhibition presents powerful works that address the structural oppression of people by the patriarchy and call for resistance. Streetvulven uses vulvas as a central motif to break through the taboo and marginalization of female bodies and make a strong statement for equal rights and self-determination. Her works, created on the streets of our cities, are angry, provocative and highly visible.

"My art is not only meant to be seen, but felt and experienced," says Streetvulven "It's time that we break down and change the patriarchal structures that permeate our society."

This exhibition invites us to reflect on the deep-rooted structures of patriarchy and to question their impact on all our lives. It is a special task for everyone to come to terms with their role within this system and to find ways to actively contribute to change.
