In this course we will look at the basics of knitting in a cozy studio atmosphere. You will see how you can bring your first projects to life with simple stitches and materials.

We will talk about yarn types, needle sizes and knitting patterns. We'll start with the cast-on, knit a gauge swatch and practise knitting knit and purl stitches and edge stitches.
In the small group you will have the opportunity to ask questions and you will receive tips for suitable beginner projects - your first knitted pieces.

Please bring to the course:
Your own knitting needles in size 6 or 8 and a suitable ball of wool with a low fleece.
Light colors are suitable for beginners, as the stitch pattern is easier to see than with dark yarn.
