Stromberg - Wieder alles wie immer - Lichtburg Open Air am Dom
In the organizer's words:
Lichtburg Open Air at the Cathedral - Doors open at 8:00 p.m.
This surprisingly thought-provoking comedy about the iconic office tyrant doesn’t shy away from dissecting current social debates, and it’s precisely because its protagonists are so overwhelmed that they become characters viewers can truly relate to.
About twenty years ago, Germany was introduced to Bernd Stromberg (Christoph Maria Herbst) and his claims adjustment team at CAPITOL Insurance. Back then, there was nothing vegan in the cafeteria, workplace bullying was rampant, and Bernd Stromberg said: “I respect women. As an idea…” Since then, the world of work has changed enormously. Has Bernd Stromberg changed too? A big reunion of everyone involved is set to shed some light on the matter—an elaborate gathering of the old crew in front of the cameras. Berthold “Ernie” Heisterkamp (Bjarne Mädel), Tanja and Ulf Steinke (Diana Staehly and Oliver Wnuk), Jennifer Schirrmann (Milena Dreissig), and, of course, Bernd Stromberg—they’re all coming together once again. And just like at a classic family gathering, there’s a unique mix of nostalgia and alcohol, old scores and new accusations. And so the reunion quickly escalates—in a way none of the participants expected. “The office is a battlefield,” as they used to say in *Stromberg*. Today, things are even worse…
