Simple language: Many students from Marburg play different instruments in a band.
They are also called a big band. You can sit, but you can also dance.

A new year begins and the first highlight is just around the corner. The Studierenden-BigBand Marburg once again brings some heat to the coldest time of year. With its usual varied repertoire of music from the last hundred years, it plays under the direction of Dirk Kunz. Under the motto "Funky Cha-Cha", a new exciting program is brought to the stage and from there to the audience. From queens and men, from the right mood, joy or silly dalliance, there is something for everyone, regardless of whether you are Team Cha-Cha or Team Funk. There's always a reason to dance.
