We invite you to a mixed music show with a wide variety of guests, the Südbahnhofkonzerte at Bahnwärter Thiel.
Falschgeld [Munich]
Falschgeld are young, from Munich and make dirty indie pop rock with German lyrics, stylistically somewhere between TonSteineScherben, Wanda and AnnenMayKantereit. The punky attitude of the four pop louts, who have been making music together since childhood and deliver a correspondingly powerful performance, contrasts with profound and thoughtful lyrics. Falschgeld's debut album (release 2024) was produced with the help of Franz Ferdinand guitarist Nick McCarthy, and the casually snotty first single "Steh auf dem Dach" (release December 2023) is about the feeling of not being able to get any more ground under your feet despite having a goal and salvation in sight.
Marina Marie [Munich]
Marina Marie from Munich has loved music since childhood. She shared her passion for the first time on a karaoke stage in Italy and felt inspired to create her own music. With influences from pop, EDM and artists such as Illenium, Chainsmokers, Halsey and Billie Eilish, she combines different genres to create an original style. Her emotional lyrics reflect her personal experiences and she believes that everything you want to be is already within you. Through her music she wants to reveal her soul and touch others deeply.
Host: Robert Wildfeuer [Munich]
Our wonderful host Robert Wildfeuer will lead you through the evening: as "The Wildfire", the likeable singer-songwriter with his trademark Santa Fe hat has been delighting audiences in Munich and beyond for years! His songs are sometimes melancholy or he sings about love, reflects on life and social issues, but often his lyrics are also characterized by a good dose of humour. His music has its roots in the USA and contains elements of folk, country and rock.
