Suli Puschban presents her new album "UNSERE STADT SPRICHT ALLE SPRACHEN" at SO36.

The "parents' evening" is aimed at everyone aged 10 and over. The program differs from Suli's children's concerts and will deliver something more thought-provoking up to Suli's song PFIADI PAPA about Suli's demented father or RUNNING WITH WOLVES of which @mathiasguitarkastner always says: "That's J.J.Cale style!"

Joining us are @kiri_rakete DAS GEHT SICH AUS, @astridhauke RODELBAHN in an apres-ski remix, Zaches & Zinnober with whom I'm going ALL OUT, @tonigeiling with whom I'm singing a love song WAS ICH AN DIR LIEBE and of course the strong female voices of @disnaylopez @amandine.thiriet and @pinaberlin_music , we will sing UNSERE STADT SPRICHT ALLE SPRACHEN, the title track of the album, but also PRIDE or NACHTBUS OHNE LIMITS (a cover of NUTBUSH CITY LIMITS).
These are comedies that make you laugh and cry, so please come, laugh, cry and sing along!

Suli Puschban has not only made a name for herself as THE Berlin children's songwriter, but also as a feminist champion of diversity. She has been inspiring children and adults for many years with hits such as "Ich hab die Schnauze voll von rosa" (a cheeky and charming rejection of role clichés) and "Supergirl" (a funky anthem for strong girls and their mothers). As a poet and artist who was awarded the GEMA Music Authors' Prize in 2019, she has played more concerts than ever before after the pandemic and further expanded her musical network in the process. On her new album, Suli Puschban lets outstanding artists such as Dota Kehr, Konstantin Wecker and Wallis Bird have their say. The result is a work that breaks all boundaries, surprises with a new collaboration in every song and displays a musical diversity that makes you forget the skip and pause button.

The title track provides a lively introduction to the album: a declaration of love to Berlin in eight languages and a humorous plea for identity and diversity. The funky "Bumtscheggawawa" (feat. 3 Berlin) delivers an enjoyable, very danceable anthem for creativity and freedom, which is followed by a cheerful, crazy yodeling "Rodelbahn" (feat. Astrid Hauke). Suli's Viennese roots also shine through here, as she sings "back tot he roots" in Austrian and is already thinking about an après-ski remix. Suli's "Verkackt" is a chilled flamenco rap about messing up and messing up, which she throws into the round with Sukini (many still remember her best as Berlin rapper Sookee) and makes it much easier for us to bear our own next failure.

Suli and Dota Kehr take a light and airy stance on difficult topics with "Eine gute Frage" (A good question), a song that takes up (seemingly easy) children's questions that adults are rarely able to answer, encourages further questions and, above all, makes us think. It continues philosophically and poetically with "Eule und Rabe", a song for which Suli Puschban wrote the lyrics, which Konstantin Wecker set to music and both sang together: A ballad about a wise owl and a clever raven, neither of whom want to stop believing in the good in people and the blessing of togetherness. With the multi-award-winning Irish singer/songwriter Wallis Bird, we experience a homage to the power of love and a heartfelt statement for gay pride and the respectful treatment of all people with "Pride".

In "Magical Times" (feat. Carrington Brown), Suli Puschban likes to go "all out" (feat. Zaches and Zinnober) and is certain at the end with Kiri Rakete: "It'll work out". It's clear: this album makes you "addicted to music" (Julia Gámez Martin). With "Our city speaks all languages", Suli Puschban finally leaves the orbit of pure children's music. Her new songs are poetic, funny, melancholy and cheeky. Suli Puschban and her 25 guest singers take the listener on a captivating and fast-paced journey through a colorful world that is open to everyone and speaks all languages.
