The drive to keep mixing fresh impulses and not to be satisfied with playing the same old smooth playlist. It's not about the run-of-the-mill pop sound that pleases the algorithm and is barely distinguishable from AI-generated slob. It's about curiosity and love for your own art. Super Memory Kid have found their comfort zone away from the boundaries of classic genres. Between delicate melodies and grungy riffs, they spin their web and tell of feverish dreams of love, depression, lust and fear. Dancing, yes! But with a clenched fist and tears in your eyes.

treibgut is the current project of musician and actor Nils Svenja Thomas. The garage/punk two-piece sounds somewhere between the early Placebo albums and modern German punk bands like the Leftovers. Energetic punk elements merge with self-destructive grunge influences and dark, dreamy lyrics that have a penchant for the surreal and the absurd. Live, the project takes place together with drummer Phil Nosko in a wild and garagey two-piece set-up.
