Susanne Paul's multi-faceted musical language is the result of her many years of involvement with a wide variety of styles: straight jazz, Brazilian music, baroque, tango and flamenco characterize her playing, as does the punk of her youth.

Chamber music jazz - the MOVE String Quartet transcends genre boundaries. Their music draws on jazz, the present, tradition and stubbornness, with echoes of Radiohead, African polyrhythms, fado and Bill Frisell. Instead of a second violin, there is a double bass on board, which provides a particularly warm, rich sound. This is slow food for the ears.
