Following his multi-award-winning debut novel "Draußen feiern die Leute" (2022), which premiered at Theater Bremen, Sven Pfizenmaier's latest novel "Schwätzer" (2024) tells of a new tragicomic and adventurous quest.

Meikel and Eddi are connected by the fact that they used to be good friends, but what separates them is their former drug addiction. Both want to stay clean, which is why they stay away from each other. But when Eddi reappears in Meikel's life one day, Meikel can't help but get involved with the chatterbox: together they search for meteorites, encounter the ghosts of a former techno club and try to escape both real and unreal dangers. A friendship and a journey that takes place between Berlin, outer space and fantasy.
