For our sixteenth session, we're sweating at very different tempos! First, we welcome the new Munich instrumental duo Robo, who celebrate a skillful blend of different genres of heavy guitar music. Then Hidas will take us into the depths of doom metal - slow but heavy. Finally, we are looking forward to the legendary Turd Sandwich from the Munich scene. The guys will heat us up with a crazy, fast-paced mix of punk, ska and hardcore with just the right pinch of black metal - it's going to get sweaty again!
Robo
The instrumental duo ROBO from Munich (drums: Sergio Arceri, guitar: Gregor Zirngibl) fuses personal musical influences from stoner rock, doom, garage, punk & 70s disco to create a sound that the duo describes as robot rock. Rhythm, riffs & groove are the focus here.
The trio Hidas unleashes a dark soundscape that explores the boundaries of doom metal. Florian Bätz (guitar), Richard Noyn (bass) and Christoph Mühlbauer (drums) form a haunting instrumental experience that transports listeners into a captivating world of heaviness. The profound sounds and powerful rhythms of Hidas promise a unique journey through the abysses of the doom metal genre. Immerse yourself in a sonic adventure without words, where every note tells a dark and leaden story.
Turd Sandwich is a skacore/crack rock steady band from Munich. Hardcore punk and blast beats mix with ska and dub. The new album "From Insult to Injury" will be released in 2025.
