You can't learn passion and talent - you either have it or you don't. Max Mutzke has both in abundance and is able to captivate the audience immediately. His shows with the SWR Big Band combine wit, spontaneity and virtuosity in such a unique, emotional way that the audience is swept off their feet.
In addition to Mutzke's hits such as Welt hinter Glas and Can't wait until tonight, there are songs from his current album Wunschlos süchtig as well as soul and pop classics such as Me & Mrs Jones and Empire state of mind. Anyone who is kept on their seats is either strapped in or completely resistant to rhythm.
