The SWR Podcast Festival will once again transform Mannheim into a podcast hotspot in 2026. Over a total of three days - from April 10 to 12 - SWR will present live podcasts in three locations. From true crime and science to talk formats and comedy: podcasters from a wide range of genres will be on site. Young podcast fans will also be catered for: with "Tigerentenclub - Die Hör-Spiel-Show" and the "Lachlabor", there will be interactive activities for children.

Questioning the world and somehow understanding it - not at all uncomplicated. I am Sammy: sociologist, educator, comedian, author in progress and basically just a riot (especially in the patriarchy). In my podcast "Samma geht's noch, Junge?!", I take you into my head every Thursday at 23:59: where society, feelings, body issues, ADHD and the normal craziness gather around a table and sometimes even hold hands.

I love looking at the big picture and still starting with myself. And this is where it gets specific: I talk about the things that concern us all - even if we rarely talk about them openly. About insecurities and taboos, about body realities and the (social) media that constantly overwhelm us. About everyday stress, self-worth, closeness, grief, trigger points, old wounds, weird dates, good moments, bad weeks and those one millisecond when you realize that you're more stable than you thought. And the best thing? No matter how difficult the subject is sometimes - it's always really funny with me. I can't help it.

So if you're in the mood for clever thoughts, vulnerable stories, little aha moments and the feeling of being able to take a deep breath, then welcome to my sofa. Because in the end, we all end up with the same question: Samma are you still there, boy?
