The SWR Podcast Festival will once again transform Mannheim into a podcast hotspot in 2026. Over a total of three days - from April 10 to 12 - SWR will present live podcasts in three locations. From true crime and science to talk formats and comedy: podcasters from a wide range of genres will be on site. Young podcast fans will also be catered for: with "Tigerentenclub - Die Hör-Spiel-Show" and the "Lachlabor", there will be interactive activities for children.

Police officers tell podcast host Joost Schmidt about the cases that have left a lasting impression on them. Moving night shifts, exciting chases or absurd traffic checks.

The guests take you right into the action, we classify the cases together with experts and provide background information.
